Who We Are

We are a local, philanthropic group of women who meet quarterly, contribute locally, and connect personally to benefit deserving charities in the Texas Coastal Bend. Our goal is to donate a minimum of $10,000 every quarter to local causes.

Our membership consists of 100+ women who have answered a calling to serve our community and want to do so in a way that has a big impact - the Power of 100. The formula is simple: 100+ women join together and agree to give collectively. Each member pledges $100, 4 times a year, to a chosen charity for a collective total of $10,000+ per meeting. The charities are nominated by members and are required to spend all funds within the following counties: Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio. The organization is completely run by volunteers who have a heart to serve and a longing for community - both with friends and in the lives we change through our collective donations.

Each quarter, we select 3 charities from applications received. Those charities are invited to our quarterly meeting, and each organization is asked to present their mission to our group and share how they would use the funds, should they be chosen to receive our impact grant. After all presentations, 100 Women of the Coastal Bend will vote on their chosen cause, and the majority vote recipient will be awarded the full $10,000+!
